Licenced user of Whessoe Computing Systems Piping Stress Analysis Package, PSA5. PSA5 is an industry-standard pipework flexibility/stress analysis package.
Forge House Engineering have many years experience using this software, using it for piping design verification of anything from Cryogenic LNG systems to Superheated Steam lines.
It enables fast and accurate verification that the system is code compliant and can be used as evidence of Pressure Hazard analysis for PED.
It makes it possible to generate accurate loads on constraints and equipment for third parties.
PSA5 was used by Forge House Engineering to stress analyse all of the steam and critical piping being designed and installed for a new CHP development, from the boiler to the turbine including the steam lines back to the process plant.
Using the pipe stress analysis software, constraints could be located and defined to best suit the system as a whole considering both stress and load implications.
More recently, Forge House Engineering have provided both static and dynamic pipe stress analysis services for a client.
